Hawkshead
Denis Marshall, an ex-Minister of Conservation, and Ulrike Kurenbach, a Sommelier, have created a stunning boutique label, which has an uncompromising viticultural focus. Their winemaking philosophy centres around utilising Old World secrets, with a vibrant New Zealand personality.

HIGH GARDEN VINEYARD
High Garden is a tiny producer on the Gibbston back road that focuses solely on single vineyard wine, particularly a beautiful Pinot Noir that delivers truthful terroir expression. The owner - vigneron and Master of Wine Robin Tedder - is a passionate supporter of Gibbston and someone who champions the prestige and value of Central Otago wine on the global stage.
Robin has been creating exceptional wine since 1993. He became a Master of Wine in 1997, a prestigious title that only 417 people in the world hold, 16 of them in New Zealand.

Valli
Valli Wine is revered around the globe for producing some of the world’s finest Pinot Noir. Winemakers Jen Parr and Grant Taylor are dedicated to crafting wines with honesty, integrity, and most importantly, a sense of place.
Global accolades are abundant for Valli, the most recent the Valli Gibbston Pinot Noir 2019 taking out the 'NZ's Best Red Wine' Trophy at the prestigious International Wine Challenge for 2022.

Wild Irishman
Wild Irishman as a label has its spiritual home in Gibbston, where its founding owner and winemaker Alan Brady spearheaded the first commercial winery in Central Otago.
Co-led now by another Irishman Brian Shaw, they focus on creating incredible wines which reflect the diversity of Central’s sub regions.
Between the old guy with 40 years’ experience of wine growing in Central Otago and the young guy with a modern winemaking degree, these two Irishmen separated by 50 years in age, share a passion for Pinot Noir and a deep respect for the soils and environmental influences that deliver their grapes.
