From the Wild Irishman home vineyard, the Tuturi Pinot Noir 2024 is a focused and expressive wine that speaks to the quiet strength of Alexandra. Now in its fifth release, this block continues to prove its potential with a Pinot that’s elegant, structured and distinctly site-driven.
The nose is immediately engaging, darker than expected, with rhubarb, plum and raspberry layered over soft florals. There’s a lifted purity here, but also a quiet intensity that sets it apart from Gibbston or Bannockburn. On the palate, it’s all about balance. Tension and opulence meet in equal measure. Juicy dark fruit, finely integrated tannins, fresh acidity and well-judged oak work together to create depth and flow.

Bright garnet in the glass, this Pinot Noir opens with lifted notes of blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry, wrapped in hints of wild thyme, evergreen and delicate florals. The palate is vibrant and generously fruited, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a savoury thread of dried herb spice. A wine with presence and poise, layered now, and built to age gracefully over the next two decades.
