Aged in French oak, this fragrant and fresh Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect sip on a warm summer day. Our vibrant, dry Gibbston single vineyard Fumé Blanc showcases the hallmarks of an oaked Sauvignon Blanc, having spent 7 months in old French oak (228 and 500L barrels) with full malolactic fermentation.
Pale straw with clear hues, it offers fragrant notes of lemon blossom, lime, kiwifruit, apricot, peach, and lemon balm. The wine is vibrant with fresh acidity, complemented by mandarin and lemon curd. A luscious, savory mid-palate leads to a long gooseberry finish.
The expressive French oak selection enhances the wine, providing richness and texture. Located in the heart of Gibbston, our Home Block Sauvignon Blanc (from 15-year-old vines) is produced as a single vineyard label only in outstanding years. Carefully managed by Gary Crabbe, we let the grapes hang as long as possible to achieve Fumé style perfection, harvesting in early May—likely one of the last picks in New Zealand for 2023.

Terms and Conditions
There are no refunds available once we have dispatched the wine to you. We do not refund if the wine is faulty after opening. If your order has been packed incorrectly or is not what you paid for please let us know within 7 days of delivery so we can repack and send you the correct wine.
Kinross will make every effort to ensure that your wine is shipped to your door quickly and efficiently, and on the above timetable. However, we rely on third parties to undertake delivery, and as such delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you require delivery within time frames less than the above, please send an email to wine@kinross.nz and our team will try our best to complete the order in the time frame requested. This may increase delivery costs, and we will advise you if this is the case.
