We are thrilled to introduce our flagship Pinot Noir, Storm Cloud.
Named after the vessel that carried Thomas Kinross and his family from Perthshire, Scotland, to Port Chalmers, Otago on April 27, 1860. The Kinross family has played a significant role in the history of Gibbston, running a Trading Post on our site that supplied the valley for many decades.
Crafted by award-winning winemaker Matt Connell, this Pinot Noir is our favourite to date, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

With complex notes of cherry and red fruit complemented by a floral lift, the palate is rich with a savoury backbone and a subtle chocolate finish. This wine is a blend of Clone 5 and Abel, featuring full malolactic fermentation and is vegan-friendly.
