The 2024 HAWKSHEAD Pinot Gris is of a dry style. Fresh and full bodied and more akin to German Grauburgunder or French Alsace style.

The 2024 HAWKSHEAD Pinot Gris is a captivating wine, bursting with the aromatic intensity of ripe melon, honeydew, wild florals, sweet herbs and the minerality of wet stones after the rain.

Those first sensory impressions mirror the elegant, fresh, luscious layers of flavours that follow. The wine is commanding and finishes long and memorable.
The delightful soft texture and pleasant palate weight has been created through slow 40 days fermentation in 10% in neutral French Barriques and 90% stainless steel and lees stirring.

This dry in style 2024 HAWKSHEAD Pinot Gris, with only 1 grams of residual sugar per litre and great natural balance between fruit sweetness and crisp acidity, inspires many creative food matches but is also very agreeable on its own or as an aperitif.
