Tasting Notes
The fruit was picked early in the morning to preserve freshness. It was whole bunch pressed to gently extract the highest quality juice and then left to cold settle overnight in tank. The clear juice was racked to old oak barrels the following day for a natural fermentation to occur. It fermented slowly for 3 months, during which time the barrels were stirred once to help build texture.
The barrels were then placed outside over winter to go through a natural cold stabilisation before being filtered and bottled in October.
Intense pear and honey aromas with a hint of nut. A very generous aroma indeed. On the palate, the wine is silky with a mouth filling texture. Flavours of pear, green apple and lychee work perfectly with the acid sugar balance. The acid providing a mineral backbone. The wine finishes off-dry and has a long, juicy finish.100% single vineyard Pinot Gris from the Tuturi vineyard. Aged in 100% oak
Service
Open the bottle a few minutes before service at 8-10 degrees Celsius.
Cellaring
Delicious now, incredible later for those with willpower! Cellar up to 2025.

Terms and Conditions
There are no refunds available once we have dispatched the wine to you. We do not refund if the wine is faulty after opening. If your order has been packed incorrectly or is not what you paid for please let us know within 7 days of delivery so we can repack and send you the correct wine.
Kinross will make every effort to ensure that your wine is shipped to your door quickly and efficiently, and on the above timetable. However, we rely on third parties to undertake delivery, and as such delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you require delivery within time frames less than the above, please send an email to wine@kinross.nz and our team will try our best to complete the order in the time frame requested. This may increase delivery costs, and we will advise you if this is the case.
