TASTING NOTES

Fragrant with notes of passionfruit, papaya, mango, lime zest, and lemon blossom, this Sauvignon Blanc offers a zesty entry featuring stonefruit, guava, feijoa, and a hint of ginger. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, it has a subtle fruit sweetness.
The Matapari vineyard produces a small yield of old Sauvignon Blanc grapes, with over 21 years old vines. We practice Massal Selection, replanting new vineyards with cuttings from these heritage vines. This wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is 100% barrel-fermented, delivering our favourite expression of New Zealand's most planted variety.
