Upon opening, the wine greets you with expressive, uplifting aromas of black cherry and dark plum, lifted by a subtle herbal note reminiscent of Vipers Bugloss in bloom, an unmistakable nod to Central Otago’s alpine landscape.

As it opens in the glass, the bouquet deepens, revealing layers of mocha, warm spice, and a whisper of wood smoke. These aromatics flow seamlessly onto the palate, where the wine offers a richly textured mouthfeel. There’s a poised interplay between refined acidity and velvety tannins, creating a sense of structure and grace. The finish is long, silky, and harmonious, echoing the wine’s elegance.

Crafted from 100% malolactic fermentation and a thoughtful clonal blend, 50% Abel, 12.5% 114, 12.5% 667, 12.5% UCD5.
