The Kinross vineyard, nestled in the stunning Gibbston Valley, is the proud home of Wild Irishman's newest single vineyard label. After years of neglect, the vines have been lovingly restored to full health and vitality by new owners Christine and John Erkkila, alongside viticulturist Gary Crabbe.

Their dedication has opened the door to exploring the full potential of this special site, one that carries the pioneering legacy of Scottish settler Thomas Kinross, who farmed this land over 150 years ago. While he didn’t grow grapes, today Pinot Noir flourishes in the fine sandy loams that once produced vegetables for the nearby goldfields.

With a commitment to minimal intervention winemaking, these wines are crafted to reflect the true character and expression of the vineyard.

Hand-picked fruit, 100% destemmed, and fermented in small stainless steel fermenters using wild indigenous yeasts—this is Gibbston terroir in its purest form.
