Wild Irishman 'Doctors Flat' Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2024
Regular price $99.00 Save $-99.00Tasting Notes
The 2019 Wild Irishman Bannockburn Pinot Noir marks Alan Brady’s return to Bannockburn, this time with organically grown fruit from the high-altitude Doctor’s Flat vineyard.
This site brings freshness and lift to a wine that’s dark-fruited, spice-driven and full of character. The nose opens with a touch of reduction before giving way to cassis, plum, eucalyptus, dried herbs and earthy leather, classic Bannockburn traits, delivered with nuance.
The palate is bold and structured. Juicy black cherry and dark plum dominate, wrapped in firm, mouthcoating tannins and a warming spice thread. It's robust, layered and built to age, an energetic and expressive take on a subregion with real depth.
Only 6000 bottles produced.
