TASTING NOTES

The wine opens with aromas of peach, nectarine, and brioche with florals of lemon and orange blossom. The palate has stonefruits, pear, lemon curd and marzipan, with great fruit sweetness and a slight toast from the well-integrated oak. The wine has a vibrant acidity, holding everything in a linear fashion.

Makers Notes

Fermentation and maturation took place in a combination of French oak barrels and Wineglobes globes for 9 months, with 36% new French oak. During this period the wine also completed full malolactic fermentation, with regular lees stirring to build texture, depth and overall complexity. No fining
