TASTING NOTES

Tropical aromas burst from the glass – passionfruit, guava, papaya – alongside blackcurrant and peach, lifted by florals of violets and blackcurrant leaf.

The tropical flavours roll across the palate, with lime and fresh cut grass, joined by subtle oak notes and gentle nuttiness from time on lees.

The wine shows lovely texture and balance, supported by mid-palate structure. Bright acidity brings energy and drive, finishing with a touch of saline minerality that lingers with freshness and clarity.

Makers Notes

The fruit was hand-harvested between the 27th March and the 27th April 2025.

The fruit was whole bunch pressed. Fermentation and maturation occurred in a mix of various-size French oak barrels (barrique 228L, cask shape 320L, and puncheons 500L), as well as Wineglobes for 9 months, with a total of 24% new French oak.

During this time the wine also completed full malolactic fermentation, with barrels lees stirred to enhance texture and overall complexity and depth. No fining.

Open the bottle a few minutes before service at 10 - 12 degrees Celcius.
